Heavy-Duty GALVALUME® Sheet Steel
We use only the highest quality steel:
- 50,000 yield, AZ-55 GALVALUME coated steel
- Features 55% aluminum and 43% zinc alloy
- 7 times more rust resistant than regular galvanized steel
- High heat reflectivity and energy efficiency
- Perfect for use in all climates
GALVALUME is the trade name for a sheet steel featuring a highly corrosion-resistant coating of 55% aluminum, 43% zinc alloy. It delivers 7 times the resistance to corrosion as regular galvanized steel. The metallic coating on GALVALUME sheet steel combines the galvanic corrosion protection of zinc with the passivating barrier protection of aluminum, resulting in an economical long-lasting sheet steel product. This coating is applied using a continuous hot-dip coating process to ensure the highest quality.
This heavy-duty sheet steel is typically used in roofs, siding, air-conditioning equipment, appliances, automotive underbody parts and other high-temperature areas where high corrosion resistance is needed.
Hardware
We only use one size nut and bolt throughout the entire range of our building designs, which makes the construction process very simple.
- JS1000 plated, 5/16″ hex-head bolt fasteners—one size bolt fits the entire building
- Bolts have 8–9 times more coating than regular bolts to protect them from rusting
- Low-density polyethylene washers cannot deteriorate, which means no leaks
- Each bolt is made with a recessed head, so the washer fits snugly inside the groove to further prevent any leaks
Structure
Our buildings are designed to last a lifetime and offer amazing structural strength. In fact, the assembly and composition of each panel make this the strongest arch manufactured today.
- Panels fit tightly together
- Bolts set on a flat surface for a tighter seal
- Small cross-corrugations for greater rigidity
When one arch overlaps the next arch, the lip is square. The bends of the lip add structural strength in the arch when placed over the square lip of the adjoining arch. The last 9″ (230mm) of each end panel is flat, so the two panels fit tight when bolted together. The bolts set on a flat surface instead of a corrugated one, giving a tight seal with no leaks.
Every arch panel has a 7″ (178mm) depth for maximum strength. Cross-corrugations are small, which not only provides greater rigidity but also reinforces the maximum strength of each panel.
No Frames for 100% Clear Span
ClearBilt buildings have no frames and allow for a complete use of interior space.
- 2′ x 10′ panels form a loop for 100% clear span
- No heavy equipment or cranes needed
- No skilled labor required, keeping costs low
Our buildings feature 2′ x 10′ panels that are bolted together to form a loop for an interior that is clear span. This means complete use of space—not only at the sides of the building but at the top, too. Since the panels form the roof and sides of the building, no inside supports are needed. Panels are simply bolted together, and construction can be completed by the end user.
Foundation
ClearBilt arch buildings only require a small perimeter of 16″ deep and 22” wide, which makes the concrete work easy and affordable to do. There is no heavy weight to resist the frost, so you do not need to go down 3-4′ with a footer. Please contact us for the certified engineered drawing for your state.
Doors & Insulation
Sliding and overhead steel doors are designed to be completely sealed at the sides, top and bottom when closed. This prohibits rain, snow and wind from coming into your building and protects against birds, rodents, insects and predators. Our doors are easy to attach and include all hardware, so no extra parts need to be purchased.
Every ClearBilt building can easily be insulated. Our insulation fasteners can be screwed onto the bolts and feature a sharp edge at the top that can penetrate fiberglass bats placed over it. A plastic cap is then screwed on top of the fastener. This process makes insulation economical and easy to apply. Spray-on insulation can also be easily applied to our buildings.
Our Drivers
At ClearBilt Building Systems, we lease our trucks from independent truck drivers who work exclusively for our factory. This means loads are delivered straight from our plant to your job site. All of our drivers are certified, careful and courteous, keeping their loads tarped and racked at all times. This ensures prompt and safe delivery of your building.
Made in the USA
Our buildings are manufactured exclusively in the USA, and we employ American labor to keep our American men and women hard at work. Our main source is the domestic market, so our quality is the highest and our prices are the most competitive.
Warranty
Every ClearBilt building comes with a 25-year 6 Month Limited Warranty against rust perforation that is backed by the steel mill. Additionally, all of our pre-engineered building packages are guaranteed free of defects. If you experience any issues, please contact us immediately
